Salon Professionals - READ ME FIRST!

We miss you. We miss our work family. We look forward to resuming our relationship with you all, hopefully soon. Our Phenix beauty professionals are resilient. Just know that we will come out of this stronger than we were before.

We are awaiting news from the Governor of Florida and will notify you once we are aware of any news or a date to re-open the salon. A task force has been created to come up with a plan to safely reopen the state by Gov. Ron DeSantis. When we hear updates we’ll be sure to pass them along.

In the meantime, we invite you to visit this Phenix Blog in addition to our Resources page, so you can quickly find posts about how to clean + disinfect daily between services, preparing to reopen your salon and ideas for messaging your clients after your suite reopens. Please read each of these to be aware of the changes that are necessary as we move forward post-Covid-19.

Until Further Notice, for the safety of you, your clients and our staff, here are a few Phenix Operational items to note as we prepare for our Grand Re-Opening:

  • Hallway Benches - Are removed temporarily to avoid lingering or sitting in the halls.

  • Appointments - Request clients to wait outside the building or in their vehicle

  • Front Door - Will remain locked 24/7. Please remind your clients to text when they arrive so you can let them in. This will be reflected in signage.

  • Suite Doors - Your Suite doors must be kept closed at all times.

  • Laundry - Closed minimum 7 days until further notice - please refrain from using the laundry facility to avoid intermingling of towels, capes, etc.

  • Masks - We’ve been trying our best to purchase masks to distribute to our professionals. At this time, we have been able to secure 3 disposable masks per suite, but shipping on these masks is not guaranteed and is out of our control. We will continue to update you as we know more. In the meantime, masks are required. Please continue to source them on your own as they likely will be needed into the future as well.

  • Sanitizer - Nearly impossible to find, we’ve been attempting to purchase hand sanitizers since our closure. As soon as this is available to us, we will make it available for use upon entry to the salon.

  • Call Your Clients in Advance - In addition to guidelines from the State, and other guidelines we’ve outlined in this blog:

    • We ask that you call your clients in advance of their appointments, ask them to bring their own mask, and:

      • Ask them: BEFORE they come in for their appointment, ask them the following questions:

        • Have you had a cough?

        • Have you had a fever?

        • Have been/do you live with anyone that has shown symptoms in the last 14 days?

      • Ask them to bring a mask (if they have one). Masks are required to be worn in all common areas including the restrooms.

In addition, please keep an eye out for direction from the Florida State Cosmetology Board and other proper authorities.

As always, please reach out to us or your site managers if you have any questions.

Take care of yourself. Be positive!
